Step 1: Choose Your Tips

We recommend starting with medium tips unless you know you have very small or large ear canals. Make sure the tip is securely attached to the body of the Immerse. Gently tug on the tips to ensure they are firmly attached to the device.

Step 2: Align Properly

Make sure the reflectors (Stereo model) or the sound entry hole (Headphone model) are properly aligned with your ear canal. Refer to the fitting guide to see the correct positioning for both models.

Top Tip: Test the seal. Cover the sound entry hole with your finger. If the sound is occluded (blocked), you’ve got a good seal. If not, try a different tip size. If you experience discomfort, experiment with a different tip size.

Step 3: Listen and Compare

With Immerse in your ears, put on your headphones or have your sound source ready to listen to. Play a song for about 60 seconds. Notice the clarity and how effortlessly you can hear all the layers of sound.

Pause the song, take Immerse out, and play the same section again. Without Immerse, you should immediately notice the harshness and lack of clarity. The sound isn’t defined at all.

Top Tip: Choose the right song. For the most dramatic effect, pick a song with lots of detail, such as electronic dance music or rock. The layered sound will highlight the benefits of Immerse more effectively.

In Summary

With Immerse: Notice the dramatic improvement in sound quality. Everything should sound clear and well-defined, with instruments and vocals separating effortlessly.

Without Immerse: A sudden harshness in sound, especially in frequencies between 2kHz–8kHz (common in guitar and vocals), which can feel more uncomfortable or fatiguing.
